Well you know 4th July will be just around the corner and I needed to get some ideas out there for using red, white and blue buttons and of course I walked around my favorite craft store and came up with this cute frame.
Here is what you'll need:
Favorite Findings - #1210 Star Gems Embroidery Floss - red, white, blue
Funtastics by Streamline: #0199, #0215, #0214
Wood Frame (your choice)
Scrapbook paper Glitter - red, white, blue
Ribbon
Glue
White Paint (your choice)
paintbrush
scissors
Adhesive Foil letters/numbers 1. paint outer rim of frame and inside with white paint and set aside to dry.
2. place scrapbook paper face down and lay frame over and trace (remember you will only need to trace 1/2 on each paper - see photo above).
3. apply a thin layer of glue to frame and place scrapbook sheet ontop (make sure to even out to remove air bubbles. 4. cut approx. 3 inches of red and white ribbon (2 each).
5. adhere adhesive letters to bottom portion of frame. 6. to add glitter to buttons: lay a thin layer of glue ontop of buttons and sprinkle glitter - remove excess. 7. Add embroidery floss (hint - I used 2 of each color) knot on front.
8. Glue remaining buttons onto frame. 9. Add picture and enjoy!

Just bright buttons!
Found a stash of buttons and thought aren't these delicious looking! Fun, bright and ready to be made into a craft! So I took some floral wire, a handful of assorted Favorite Findings Matt and Felt buttons and assorted Favorite Findings colorful buttons and began making "Button Flowers"
Materials:
floral craft wire (gauge should be around 22 - 24)
Favorite Findings Matt buttons (assorted colors)
Favorite Findings Felt buttons (assorted colors)
Favorite Findings assorted mini and colored buttons
assorted ribbon
scissors
1. cut wire to approximately 14 inches. Fold wire in half (form a u-shape)
2. stack buttons - start with a large button, followed with matt and so on until you've achieved the desired look! To achieve above look you will need to make approximately 10 flowers
3. slide buttons onto wire - remember you will begin with your smallest button and end with your largest on the bottom.
4. after your last button is on -twist wire all the way down. Once you've completeed twisting all your flowers, bunch together and tie with ribbon and place in a jar or pot and now you have flowers all year round!
So get out there and start crafting! Visit your favorite craft store and pick up your Favorite Finding buttons!

Good Morning and welcome back!
I had some additional ideas on creating and embellishing your flip flops. Here are two flip flops that you too can create!
Mateials needed:
1 pair of flip flops
Coordinates by La Mode Buttons
ribbon (approx. 1 yard)
glue (your choice)
scissors
1. start at one end of flip flop - add glue wrapping your ribbon (make sure to overlap a slightly), continue to the other side and cut off excess.
2. make a bow with coordinating ribbon - glue to center of flip flop
3. glue button
Now go out and show off your "original" creation and everyone will be asking where did you get those flip flops!
